Ingredients
1 sashimi quality tuna steak
1 large mango cheek
½ head of baby fennel, sliced thin
½ a carrot, julienned
½ a leek, julienned
1 tbsp sesame oil
Method
Heat a char grill plate, smear the mango cheek with a small amount of sesame oil and place onto the hot grill, cook on both sides for 3-8 minutes then repeat the process with the tuna steak.
Heat a fry pan and add a splash of sesame oil then gently sweat the veggies until just softened.
Serve the tuna resting on top of the veggies and mango.
