Ingredients
2 Chicken breasts/thighs, cut into 2cm pieces
1 leek, cut into 2cm pieces
4 tbsp Soy sauce
6 tbsp sushi seasoning
2 tbsp sugar
Dash of honey or maple syrup
Method
Mix together soy sauce, sugar, honey or maple syrup, mirin and sake, and heat until it's homogenous.
Place the chicken pieces into the marinade, and let it stand for a while.
Spear three or four pieces of chicken and some leek on each wooden stick.
Grill the skewers until cooked through, brushing with extra marinade a couple of times.
