Ingredients
4 veal schnitzel
4 slices of bacon
2 tomatoes, peeled and sliced
4 slices of cheese
4 lettuce leaves
4 burger rolls
1 tablespoon freshly ground coffee
2 teaspoons (packed) golden brown sugar
2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
½ teaspoon ground coriander
½ teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon fine sea salt
Method
Place the coffee, sugar, black pepper, coriander, oregano and salt together in a bowl and mix until well combined (place this mixture into an airtight container and it will keep in the fridge for a couple of weeks.)
Take each slice of veal and liberally rub on both sides with the coffee rub and allow to marinade for at least ½ an hour.
Heat a char-grill plate and toast the rolls until nice and crispy then grill the bacon and marinated veal for 4-6 minutes, then place the bacon on top of the veal, and top off with the cheese slice
Layer the burger roll with lettuce, tomatoes and cooked veal and serve.
