Ingredients

 
8 slices of middle cut bacon
8 dried prunes
4 spring onions finely sliced
2 drops of Worcester sauce
2 drops of Tabasco sauce
150g grated mozzarella
8 slices of bread
Olive oil
 

Method

 
Cut the bread into star shapes and brush lightly with olive oil and place into a pre-heated oven at 190oC for 5-8 minutes until lightly golden.
 
Mix together the cheese, spring onions, Worcester and Tabasco sauce and stuff inside the prunes, then wrap the bacon around the outside of the prune and secure with toothpicks.
 
Place the wrapped prunes onto a baking paper lined baking tray and bake at 190oC for 10-15 minutes.
 
Serve the bacon wrapped prune on top of the toasted star breads.
