Ingredients
6 large potatoes, peeled and sliced 1 cm thick
100g butter
200g grated cheddar
1 brown onion, sliced thin
1 litre of milk
Salt and pepper
Method
In a large mixing bowl combine the potatoes, onions, half the butter, salt and pepper and about 75% of the cheese.
Using the second half of butter, grease the inside of your baking tray then pour the potato mixture straight in and arrange the slice flat.
Pour over the milk, sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and bake at 195oC for 35-45 minutes.
