Self Saucing Chocolate Pudding

Ingredients

 
250g self raising flour
3 tbsp drinking chocolate
125 ml milk
Dash of vanilla essence
2 eggs
50g melted un-salted butter
 
 
Sauce
200g raw brown sugar
2 tbsp drinking chocolate
300 ml boiling water
 

Method

 
Sift together the flour and drinking chocolate, stir in the eggs, milk and vanilla and mix until all combined.
 
Grease a cake tin liberally with the melted butter and pour the cake batter in.
 
Sprinkle the top with the raw brown sugar and the drinking chocolate then using the back of a spoon gently pour the boiling water over the top
 
Bake in an oven pre-heated to 190oC for about 45 minutes
 
When the cake is cooked very carefully flip it onto a plate and serve with whipped cream.
