Ingredients
500g plain flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp yeast
1 tsp sugar
4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
250ml warm water
Method
1. Combine all powder ingredients in a large bowl and form a well in the centre.
2. Slowly add the warm water and oil to the well then gradually mix the flour through until combined. Knead until smooth and slightly springy.
3. Cut off 5 cm square pieces of dough and roll out to a thickness of ½ cm (pasta machine is perfect for this.)
4. Splash oil into a frying pan and heat. Cook flat bread on each side for 1 minute. A light spray of olive oil can be used.
5. Best eaten straight away as a dipping bread
