Slice
2 cups of plain flour
1 cup of drinking chocolate
250g unsalted butter
1 tbsp water
Topping
60g unsalted butter
½ cup brown sugar
2 cups of desiccated coconut
½ cup of cream
250ml coconut cream
1 cup of macadamia nuts
2 tbsp lemon juice
Slice
Place all ingredients into a blender and mix until a smooth paste is formed.
Press the slice mixture into a non-stick baking tray and spread out until even.
Bake at 180°C for 20 minutes.
Topping
Place all topping ingredients into a saucepan and gently heat and stir until all ingredients are combined, then pour over the slice and bake at 160°C for 35-40 minutes.
Allow to cool then refrigerate before cutting into squares.
