Topless Apple StrudelIngredients (Serves 8)
Method Line a flan tin with puff pastry. Blind bake (place a sheet of baking paper over the pastry, add 1 cup of rice) at 190C for 10-12 minutes. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, brown sugar, most of the melted butter, a splash of the Marsala and nutmeg. Spread this mixture into the pre baked pastry base. Sprinkle over with raisons. Slice the apple really thin and cover over the flan in a circular pattern. Brush with remaining melted butter and Marsala then bake at 195C for 15-20 minutes.
