1 loaf of sliced white bread
300g grated cheese
4 slices of Ham
100g Mushroom finely sliced
2 Tomatoes, sliced
2 tomatoes chopped
1 Onion, finely chopped
½ tsp bunch fresh basil
½ tsp dried oregano
Dash of olive oil.
In a hot fry pan sauté the mushrooms and onions until starting to brown then tumble in the chopped tomatoes, basil and oregano and cook for 2 minutes.
Using a rolling pin to roll slightly flatten the bread slices.
Take a medium sized stainless steel and oil lightly with olive oil.
Line the bowl with a layer of sliced bread, then a layer of sliced ham, then a layer of sliced tomatoes and a layer of fried mushrooms, then a sprinkle of cheese.
Then continue the alternate layers until full.
Bake in an oven set to 180oc for 35 minutes.
Cut wedges and serve.
