Beef and Beans Short Ribs

2 racks short ribs
3 cloves garlic, roughly chopped
1 red onion, roughly sliced
2 truss tomatoes, roughly chopped
400 g white cannellini beans
Sea salt
1 tsp. turmeric
1 tsp. ground coriander seed
1 tsp. smoked paprika
1 cup water


Preheat oven to 220°C.
Coat the beef with the spices and sprinkle over a little salt. Place into a baking dish and pop in the oven for 20 mins.
Once cooked, add the chopped vegetables, beans and pour over the water. Cover with foil and seal tightly. Lower the oven temp to 180°C and cook for 2 hours.
Once cooked, remove the ribs onto a plate. Gently smash the bean mixture with a fork and serve and pour over the top.
