Beef Gallosh

(Makes 24)
500g beef mince
1 tsp minced garlic
4 spring onions finely chopped
10 capers
1 carrot, finely grated
1 zucchini, finely grated
1 egg
½ cup breadcrumbs
1 tbsp Worcester sauce
1 tsp soy sauce
4 sheets puff pastry
1 egg (for egg wash)


In a bowl, massage and combine the beef mince, garlic, spring onions, capers, carrot, zucchini, egg, breadcrumbs, Worcester sauce and soy sauce.
Cut each puff pastry sheet in half and then each half into 3 pieces (i.e.; 6 rectangles).
Place 2 tbsp of the beef mixture onto each rectangle and brush pastry with egg wash and fold upwards to cover most of the mince.
Line an oven tray with baking paper. Place the gallosh, (mince side down) onto the lined tray.
Brush over with egg wash and bake in a preheated oven at 220°C for 15 minutes.
